Our rabbit is raised on family farms in America’s heartland on a diet of sweet alfalfa, oats, wheat, and barley with no antibiotics, no added hormones, and no animal by-products. The result is a lean and tender meat with a delicate, slightly sweet flavor that can be enjoyed fried, grilled, or roasted.
Iowa Rabbit adheres to strict standards including third party audits on all animal welfare and processing practices. We’re also committed to sustainability. Rabbits produce meat more efficiently than other animals and all rabbit waste products are composted into organic material that is used in vegetable and flower gardens.
